Description

The stainless steel Lacor mesh skimming spoon is most often used for skimming fat or fine particles from soups, stews, or meats being prepared. It is also a good utensil to remove foam that may form on the surface of soups or jams when being cooked.

A Skimming Spoon may also be referred to as a Skimming Ladle, a Skimmer, or a Strainer Spoon. In Cyprus, you will most usually find a mesh skimmer in a Lokma shop, as it is used to scoop loukoumades from the frying oil.
